The risk to which Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Law no. 677/2000, with subsequent amendments and additions, refer is defined as follows:

“The risk [..] may result from the processing of personal data which could generate physical, material or moral damage, in particular in cases where: the processing may lead to discrimination, identity theft or fraud, financial loss, damage to reputation, loss of confidentiality of personal data protected by professional secrecy, unauthorized reversal of pseudonymization or any other significant disadvantage of an economic or social nature (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data)

What measures for the safe collection and processing of your personal data has our company taken?

We also assure you that our company manages safely and only for the specified purposes the personal data that you provide to us about yourself, a member of your family or another person, with the objective of eliminating the risks concerning the safety of your personal data.

Centrul de Calcul S.A. guarantees the security and confidentiality of the data hosted and transmitted through its IT system, the databases are protected including by electronic encryption, collaboration protocols have been concluded with the IT companies that manage our web page, data security specifications have been provided in the collaboration contracts as well as in the internal procedures and there are confidentiality provisions in the contracts of our employees.

What are the purposes of collecting and processing personal data?

The purposes of collecting personal data are: promotion, marketing and advertising, as well as electronic communications services. It is necessary to provide the data, as they are also necessary for commercial communications, product delivery and the issuance of fiscal documents.

Who else may process personal data on our behalf?

The company Centrul de Calcul S.A. may authorize courier companies to process such data for the delivery of products. Our employees are also involved in this process of collecting and processing personal data.

Also, Centrul de Calcul S.A. may provide personal data to other companies with which it is in partnership relations, but only based on a confidentiality commitment from them, through which they guarantee that these data are kept safely and that the provision of this personal information is made according to the legislation in force, as follows: providers of marketing services, courier services, payment/banking services, telemarketing or other services, provided by companies with which we may develop joint offer programs on the market of our Goods and Services, insurers.

The Buyer’s personal information may also be provided to the General Prosecutor’s Office, Police, courts of law and other authorized state bodies, based on and within the limits of the legal provisions and as a result of expressly formulated requests.

By completing the personal data in the order form on the Site, including the personal numerical code, for the purpose of credit activity, the Buyer expressly gives their consent that the legal entities with which Centrul de Calcul S.A. has concluded partnerships for the purpose of offering products through credit may process their personal data in their own records for the purpose of carrying out the credit analysis and may transmit them in order to consult the information registered in the Buyer’s name in the database of the Credit Bureau.

How long are the data kept?

We mention that our company keeps the data for as long as the legal requirement regarding accounting documents provides, does not archive them, does not use them for advertising purposes without your express consent. Also, your data are kept throughout the warranty period of the purchased product.

What are the rights of the persons whose data are collected and processed?

The right to information – you may request information regarding the processing activities of your personal data;
The right to deletion of data (“the right to be forgotten”) – you may obtain the deletion of the data, if their processing was not lawful or in other cases provided by law;
The right to restriction of processing – you may request the restriction of processing if you contest the accuracy of the data, as well as in other cases provided by law;
The right to object – you may object, in particular, to data processing based on our legitimate interest;
The right to rectification – you may rectify inaccurate personal data or complete them;
The right to data portability – you may receive, under certain conditions, the personal data that you have provided to us, in a machine-readable format, or you may request that the respective data be transmitted to another controller;
The right to lodge a complaint – you may lodge a complaint regarding the manner of processing personal data with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing;
The right to withdraw consent – in cases where the processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal of consent will have effects only for the future, the processing carried out before the withdrawal remaining valid;
Additional rights related to automated decisions: you may request and obtain human intervention regarding the respective processing, you may express your own point of view regarding it and you may contest the decision
